I just wanted to let you know that we will have our next PTA meeting during the Book Fair on Monday, November 12 th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in the computer lab. At this meeting, we will vote on special projects. If you have a project that you would like to be considered, please send an email to Cyrena rayandcyrena@embarqmail.com by Sunday, November 11th detailing the project, its cost, and a timeline for completion. All special projects must benefit the entire school, be a one-time expenditure, and have an overseer who will see the project through to completion. Past projects have included our entrance buzzer system, benches, our wonderful school sign, basketball goal backboards, and the landscaping in front of the school and at the pod entrance, just to name a few.
We all work hard and give our time and resources to raise money and this is one way to see that things that need doing get done. If you have a good idea for something that needs to be done, please send it in!
I will send out summaries of all projects submitted for consideration Monday morning so that we will be ready to vote at the meeting.
Also, if you have any information that you would like to cover at the PTA meeting, please send me your information for slide presentation by Sunday, November 11th.
