Field Day Memories

The sun did not shine on our Field Day today,
But we had lots of fun inside anyway!

We had games going on throughout the school. Thanks to intensive planning by Susan Williams and Mr. Winchell, the day inside went very smoothly. Thank you to them for their efforts!

Here we have some fifth graders doing a giant puzzle in the library...

First-graders playing the bean bag game in the music room...

And playing pass the hoop in the hallway...

It looked like a driving range in the gym!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a lot of representative shots of all that went on, since I was staffing the sign-in / information booth most of the day.

Many thanks to the dozens of volunteers who helped run the games, snacks, etc. today. We were once again fortunate to have the Key Club from Sullivan Central to help us out during the first two sessions. We were also glad to see many dozens of parents come out to enjoy watching their kids play their games today as well. Maybe next year we will see the sun....
